State of Decay 2 will do without micropayments, as confirmed by Undead Labs

State of Decay 2 will be released on May 22 on PC and Xbox One and players who are not in favour of micropayments can breathe easy: the game will not have any such system, according to Undead Labs.

In a broadcast of the study, the team has recalled that the game will sell for 29.99 euros and that, in addition, in the case of Xbox One will be added to the catalogue of Xbox Game Pass games. In addition, they point out that they have no plans to introduce micropayments.

What they are willing to do is create expansions that offer more hours of play for users, following a policy similar to that seen in its predecessor.

State of Decay 2 is a direct continuation of the cult title State of Decay, which invited us to cooperate with other players in an open world full of zombies looking for resources and other elements, as weapons for survival.

This version will offer larger maps, improved graphics and greater freedom of choice, telling us a new story in which 18 months after the zombie apocalypse, the military leaves a refugee camp in the United States. Those who remain there must unite to survive the fall of civilization.
